Do's and Do Not's for RC Helicopters

Do:
1. Take canopy off. This will provide a little more battery life. It's also lessens the weight on the heli so it can go higher, faster. You'll need a really small screwdriver.
2. Buy some replacements. You don't need to do this, actually you don't need to do any of this. But you can buy some replacements parts such as rotors, motors, etc. It'll come in hand when a part of your heli breaks. The price will differ by what you're buying.
3. Give a good charge. This is what you should ALWAYS do. Just ask yourself, do you want your heli come crashing down in mid-flight because of a dead battery?
4. Learn how to fly better. You can learn from videos from pros. Go on Google or Youtube. Go wander about a bit before you take it outside.
5. Show off. Who wouldn't? You'll eventually do it, anyways.

Do Not's:
1. Take apart. You'll want your heli looking good right? Only do do this if you REALLY know what you're doing.
2. Spray paint your helicopter. I think that spray painting adds tons of more weight on the heli. You'll probably loose play time.
3. Fly really high. If you're outside, try not to fly too high. Your controller only has a limited range. Once again, you don't want your heli to come crashing down, right?
4. Charge from your controller. This reduces your controller batteries by A LOT! Try to charge it by using a USB. If you don't have one, try to buy one off Ebay or something. Only charge using the controller if you're outside or really desperate.
5. Fly near pets and stuff. The rotors can damage a pet's eyes when it hits them. Even babies are a cautionary point.

Have fun flying!
